| WTFCY Sponsored Walk Tony Leach, Nick Hamblin, Dave Osborne & Martin Farrell (not pictured) completed their 31 mile sponsored walk on Saturday 13th August 2011, raising funds for the young children of Wincanton, to purchase kit and equiptment for them to take part in football matches.
Their walk took them from Dorchester Football Ground to Wincanton Football Ground.
Nick commented "We started at 8am and arrived back at Moor Lane just before 5pm. The only problem we encountered were blisters, which made it very uncomfortable over the last 9 or 10 miles. We would all like to thank Ali Thorne who kindly offered to transport us all to Dorchester, and to Tony's wife Margaret who acted as support throughout the walk."

 | We need your help! We need to raise sufficient funds each year to meet our out goings and so hold regular fundraising events. All this takes time and effort to organsise and to encourage donations.
We also assist in maintaining the community facilities at Moor Lane, playing our part in helping to keep the Wincanton Sports Ground in good order and need volunteers.
