Even if you just want to come along and train that will be fine. All training takes place mid-week in the evenings. We play 7-a-side league games for mini football and 11-aside for youth in the Yeovil and Somerset league. The girl's teams play in the Somerset Girl's League.
We now have the use of the excellent facilities offered at both the Wincanton Sports Centre for Winter Training & Wincanton Sports Ground, Moor Lane. Training nights are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, different ages meeting on different nights. The training is fun and based on you gaining confidence playing football and simply enjoying it!
You can join mid-way through the season, by paying the £15 year's membership and then just paying £2.50 per session/match as and when you turn up. Why not give it a go, you will enjoy it, honest!

This qualification carries a first aid badge and child protection certificate. All coaches are CRB checked and registered as part of the FA Charter. |
What is Mini Soccer? In 1999 Mini-soccer was implemented as the form of football for Children Under 10 years of age. Girls and boys are introduced to the game on smaller pitches, smaller goals and with fewer players. The aim is to provide a quality experience for all players at all levels. The Football Association deem Mini-soccer as the most appropriate and fun introduction to football. It allows greater involvement in the game, with more touches on the ball, dribbles and passes. | | End of Season Presentation and Awards Once our football season has come to an end, we hold an Award Presentation Evening where individuals and teams are recognised.
